Per 247sports.com, Keith Williams, who has until 7/7/21 to pull his name from the NBA draft, just entered the transfer portal. That makes it seem as though he'll opt out of the draft.

Keith is going to go down as under appreciated especially after such a weird senior year. with everything that happened.

Keith reminds me of Bobby Austin (1979-82; in the 1,000 point club). Both good players and so athletic with so much potential. It was especially weird with Austin - always talk of his potential (greatness type of potential). Every year. Several years after he graduated, I remember reading an Enquier report of what he was up to, and there it was - still talking about his potential.

But make no mistake, he was very good.

I wish Keith all the best at WKU. I thought for sure he'd be in G League or overseas instead of one more year in college. I hope he shines.

Keith did not play in the first game for WKU. Apparently there are eligibility issues after he signed with an agent, and he has not been cleared.
