Don't know if Gary is hurting or just tired, but his numbers have really dropped and so has his playing time. He appears to be out of the rotation with a DNP Coaches decision last night.

I think he is currently. I don’t think it’s anything major

From the Dec 17 Houston Chronicle:

                  Q. Where has Gary Clark been? — Ryan

A: Danuel House Jr. moved past him in the rotation. In the six games Clark played since he knocked down three 3-pointers against the Warriors, he made just 3 of 16 3-pointers. House provided a nice jolt of energy with a few offensive bursts mixed in. The Rockets do believe in Clark's potential, but he is out of the rotation for now.

Two nights ago the Rockets set the single game record for made three pointers in an NBA game; on the record setting trey by Michael Carter-Williams, the assist was by our own, beloved Gary Clark!

Great to see Gary get minutes the last few games, unfortunately it is due to the injuries to Paul, Capela, and Gordon. Also unfortunate that they have lost 4 of 5 during his extended playing time stretch. He was shooting a little better for a few games but had a 0 for 5 from 3 in the last game. His strengths as a player that we all witnessed for 4 years don't really seem to be utilized fully in Houston's system where Harden dribbles and if he doesn't' shoot kicks it out for a teammate to spot up and hit the 3. Thankful he got his due and was signed by Houston, just puzzling as it is hard to get offensive rebounds from the 3 point line.

Gary got the start Wednesday but really didn't do anything outside of a couple of good blocks and rebounds. 0-5 from the field. Nerves maybe?

Weird things happening . Joe Nunnally has been waived and Carmelo Anthony was officially traded to the Bulls for cash. Rockets will officially sign Kenneth Faried tomorrow which probably knocks Gary from the starting lineup.

Saw some talk of Gary being at Rio Grande Valley for the G League team. He's not. Just not getting a lot of time with the Rockets. One thing I noticed looking at the stats is that his FG% is way down from what we used to see. Probably becuase he's mostly been a 3 pt shooter in their offense. He doesn't take a ton shots when he's on the floor and when he does it's usually a 3. FG% and 3PM% are both about 30%

He's been listed as "Inactive" lately, but last night he played 48 seconds and missed one 3-pointer.
