Jeff Fisher said he spoke with Isaiah Pead's mom yesterday and she says he's struggling. Also that his career is over.

Isaiah apparently had a second surgery at some point. Pictures posted to twitter yesterday by Bob Mangine show Pead awake and smiling in the hospital bed and then later another pic by Reuben Johnson in a wheel chair outside the hospital. No one has released details on the injuries and I don't expect them to. I would assume he's got a lot of physical therapy to go through.

The Enquirer has reported that Drugs and Alcohol were NOT a factor. Police reports were stating he was driving considerably over the speed limit before he lost control of the vehicle. So, if there are lessons to learned here, that would be the first one. Sounds like Isaiah has a long road ahead.

I was actually afraid it would be much worse, perhaps paralysis. It's devastating anyway, and hoping he comes back for a normal life.

Will there be any moment of silence or short ceremony at the game tonight?

I love that Tion Green is wearing Pead's jersey and number tonight for his last game to honor him. Class act.

I was very shocked and saddened to hear about this. Nothing but good memories about Pead, he played with a lot of heart, loved it when he broke into the secondary, he provided us with a lot of excitement and great mamories! Best wishes to him.

He just posted a photo on his Instagram:

Pead looks pretty positive, but his left leg above the knee is gone. I wish him the best.
