  • NFL Draft 2015

Draft starts tonight. Unlikely that we will see anyone from UC taken before day 2. Jeff Luc is the main draft target for us. Some of the our other guys could go in the late rounds on Day 3. The late rounds are always a little goofy , particularly round 7.

No one drafted this year. Jeff Luc has signed with Miami and Tyreek Burwell has signed with San Diego.

I find it interesting that Jones was supposed to be a far better recruiter than Kelly, yet none of the players jobs recruited to UC have been drafted in the last two years.
In loving memory, I will be a fan for both of us.

How many seniors this year were his recruits?

Last year, all of Kelly's recruits. This year all of Jone's recruits.

Lefeld to Falcons, Harrah to Giants, Hartsfield to Colts. Beard, Jordan and Temple to the Bengals.

Some of it is recruiting and some of it is developing while here. The developing is tough too as a lot of it has to do with the young man's individual desire to push himself.

The UC weightlifting and conditioning staff used to do an excellent job helping the athletes achieve some of the non-football metrics the NFL is seeking. Has something changed? Contrary to popular belief, you can teach speed and agility along with strength. The Paresi program is just one example.

There's much more to being drafted than speed and benchpressing 225, but it can certainly give a player an advantage.
Red and Black are more of an Attitude than merely a color combination.

              Intimidate! Dominate! Celebrate!
