I know that score looks terrible but we were in this game at the half and only down by 4. We got blitzed in the 1st quarter but the 2nd quarter was all Bearcats. Unfortunately we could not sustain that.

The Cats fell behind by 13 in the third quarter to USF at home today on ESNU, but kept chipping away. Despite missing a boatload of shots, including every trey, UC forced 31 turnovers and hit crucial free throws at the end to win, 60-55.

Angel Rizor led the way with 16 in a game in which the Bulls bottled up Ilmar'I Thomas all day.

WBB has record similar to the men's team with a good conference record at 6-3 and overall of 15-7. 7 games left to turn on the jets and try and make the tournament as an at large. The remaining schedule is so-so with 4 home games and 3 on the road but one of those home games is UConn.

And now 16-7 and 7-3 AAC after a home win today versus Tulsa 78-53. That's 11 straight wins at home.

The women took an L in Orlando on Saturday but are still in the log jam at 2nd place in conference behind UConn.

Big game tonight vs UConn for probably the last time they will ever come to UC. If you not doing anything, show up & root on the WBB team. Plenty of great seats available. I got lower section seats from
                UC at a great price.

Uconn has never lost an AAC game. It would nice to send Geno home with an L

That's not going to happen tonight. The Huskies finished the first half on a 22-3 run to take a 46-18 lead to the locker room. UC shot 7/40 from the floor.

I was at the game & UConn looked like a pro team. They are very talented. At one point in the 3 qtr we were shooting 21%.
All in all, they had a nice crowd & enjoyable except for the score.

Per the box score at gobearcats.com, announced attendance 5607. That has to be the largest home crowd in UC WBB history.

The ladies are the 3 seed in the conference tourney. They would have to play #2 UCF if they advance and they avoid Uconn until the finals.
