Frank Robinson died today. He was one of the two greatest players I was lucky to see many times in person, Willie Mays was the other. The trade that sent him to Baltimore for NOTHING in return still stands as the worst trade in MLB history.

One of the All Time Greats. Fierce player. Reds traded him away to Baltimore when he was only 30 years old and made a public statement to the effect that he was an "old 30". Frank promptly won the Triple Crown hitting title. First player in MLB history to win the MVP Award in both leagues.
His career hitting numbers tell you why he's a Hall of Famer. Very Impressive. Broke the color barrier as first black manager in MLB.
