    gobearcats: Baseball Comeback Falls Short against Tulane ( Tulane 9 - Bearcats 5)
    The University of Cincinnati baseball team scored five runs in the sixth inning but the attempted comeback fell short as the team lost to Tulane 9-5 on Sunday afternoon at Marge Schott Stadium.

      After a mid-season spurt of wins (6 of 8) over nationally ranked UCF and at Indiana, UC has fallen back into their losing ways having lost 8 of their last 10 games. And those two wins came against even lowlier Xavier (11-33).

      I was hoping like many of you that the players could overcome the coach running off a bunch of players. Apparently that can't happen this year.

        I've often wondered why UC and Pete Rose never struck a deal.

        Seems if ol' Charlie Hustle was such a fan of the game he could be a hitting coach for the Bearcats or something.

          Bearcats Set for American Championship

          The University of Cincinnati baseball team travels to Clearwater, Florida, to begin play in the 2015 American Athletic Conference Baseball Championship which runs from May 19-24 at Bright House Field. The Bearcats qualified as the No. 8 seed and will face top-seeded Houston on Tuesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network.
