Six more days! Can't wait! Then take them one game at a time. Don't overlook any team or assume you have a patsy. Just play hard!

This is going to get ugly early on Saturday. The Govs are wretched on offense. Pitt held them to ten rushing yards. Here are the pertinent points from their local newspaper:

            Cats win, 63-0.

I still am worried about Army. Thankfully we play them at home.

Here's an Enquirer article regarding the Govs' DC's prediction, of sorts:

Alec Pierce will not play today per Pete Thamel. Tweaked a knee in practice.

Great start to the season. Starters looked good after a sluggish start. On to Army!

This is about what I was expecting. The 2 Austin Peay TDs were on the 3rd string D.

Desmond needs to figure out his touch. He floated a few short ones and overthrew the long ones.

Doaks had a game. Despite what the broadcast said 4 TDs is not a record. Might be record for RBs but I’m not sure.

Ben Bryant throws a better deep ball the Ridder even though he didn’t connect on them. He proved to me that he can run the read option but this is inferior competition so who knows .

                                Here's the Box Score:

                                https://www.espn.com/college-footbal...meId=401212541

276 yards rushing as a team and Des Ridder had the most yards despite the TD parade from Doaks. Oddly enough Doaks was the leading receiver.
