    Around the American ‘20-21

This conference looks so much better without UConn it.

Anyway, this is a placeholder for now

Mike Aresco, on ESPNU radio, mentioned that the AAC is still considering a future expansion to 12 teams. However, it’s on the back burner. He also said that, if they go to 12, they probably will not split into divisions. The best two teams should play in the championship game.

The stats suggest Tulsa outperformed offensively...
Total yards: Tulsa 484. Miss St. 271
First Downs: Tulsa 27. Miss St. 16
Avg. Yards per play: Tulsa 5.6. Miss. St. 4.5
Net Rushing Yds: Tulsa 137. Miss St. 123

Zach Smith threw for 347 yards, while MSU's QB tossed for just 148. And while both had a TD in the game, the difference was Smith threw 2 INTs and Rogers none. One of those TDs went 90 yds the other way for a Miss St. defensive TD. Can't turn the ball over and expect to win. Similar thing happened to Florida against Oklahoma with Trask throwing three interceptions in the blowout loss 55-20 to the Sooners.

That Hawaii game years ago was an ugly, dirty game. I never want to see UC go there to play again.

I predicted the future. They did put up a fight. A brawl even.

Doesn't help when you have the best defensive player in the country and he doesn't play.

Houston played as if they couldn't care less, falling behind Hawaii, 21-0 at the half. They were more interested in the third quarter, scoring two quick TD's. Then, their special teams let them down, allowing a 92-yard kickoff return for a TD that represented the final score of the game. Hawaii, 28-14.

It wasn't him after all. WIlliams declared for the draft after we beat UCF at their place.

Memphis news: Brady White is going to the NFL rather than complete his doctorate degree. He'll be replaced by Grant Gunnells who just transferred in from Arizona.

If it was, he ended up with a goose egg on the receptions end becuase he's not in the box score.

Heupel: Frost is Butch Jones: Brian Kelly in this scenario. Heupel maintained the status quo as long as he could and now it's starting to slide backwards on defense.
