Some interesting games on the OOC schedule this week.

Tulsa is at Michigan St on Friday night.

Also Friday at the same time, Wisconsin travels to USF, who apparently is claiming they've sold out the lower deck of Raymond James Stadium (yeah right). I'm sure the amount of no shows will be impressive as usual.

Saturday has Ole miss At Memphis

Sunday your. game is Houston at. OKlahoma.

Wisconsin, MSU, UCLA, Ole Miss, OU....strong scheduling. I hope AAC wins 2-3 of these games this week, to go along with the Bearcat victory.

The Conference went 3-0 last night. While I doubt Tulsa will make it 4-0, USF has a shot at Wisconsin tonight if they play well.

The brass at USF have a decision to make IMO. USF looked awful. Picked up right where they left off last year. That's 7 Ls in a row.

Charlie Strong just isn't a head coach. If it weren't for Teddy Bridgewater, he'd be an assistant again.

USF looked horrible. Wisconsin is a good team, but not that great. To get a beat down like that on your home field is embarrassing.

Charlie Strong will be gone by week four.

Tulsa managed a school record -73 yards rushing against the Fighting Dantonios last night. Fire Phil Montgomery too.

Memphis is looking strong vs. Ole Miss. Not a top tier SEC team but still an SEC team, they will be a tough opponent for us to close our season at their house.

SMU having trouble at AR State. They led, 16-9, but just gave up two quick strike drives to fall back, 23-16, in the 3rd, after failing to score from first and six.

And, as soon as I wrote that, the Mustangs ran the KOR for a TD. Naturally, the PAT was blocked. AR State 23-22 at 7:22 3rd.

SMU punched it in on 1st & goal at 0:44 in the 3rd to take a 30-23 lead after hitting the 2-point try on a trick play. QB flipped to WR coming around, who threw to front pylon for the score.

The Mustangs survived a late tying attempt, stopping two late throws into the end zone. Final: 37-30.

Tulane has Auburn. This should be a good measure of how much they've improved. UCF has FAU who hung around with OSU last week for a while. Uconn's losing streak starts this week with Illinois.

One out of conference game to note: Marshall is at Boise St. tonight if you want something to watch and want to scout Marshall.

Watched early (MU at BSU) - 2nd possession MU moved the ball well but fumbled, then 3rd possession went through BSU like a hot knife through butter to score a TD to lead 7-0. Never scored again and lost 14-7.
