Strength of schedule will definitely play into the CFB Playoff standings. You could see Boise seated lower than us based on SOS. If we continue to climb the rankings by winning, the SOS will give us the advantage. We may not jump them in the polls, but the CFB Playoff standings is a different. We will have to wait and see.

I wouldn't say it's impossible we could not pull even with them if both teams could go undefeated because we would have to beat Temple and Memphis on the road which would be likely two more top 25 wins. However, it will be a big task to do that. Take them one at a time. My guess is at that point folks would start pointing to the common opponent of Marshall particularly since we destroyed them at home vs Boise squeaking by them at their place. Boise is going to get dilution in the computer rankings as the season goes on more so than us. Uconn is going to be our bad guy.

The problem for us assuming we win out, which isnt likely... Boise plays absolutely nobody this year with BYU being bad. There's no way we can jump them even if we go undefeated which means no chance at a good bowl. We should continuing blowing through our next 4 opponents before we hit temple and Memphis

    SMU #19 in both; Temple #25/28. Memphis #32/29. Tulane #26/27. UCF #36/32.

Other G5 teams to consider: Boise State #14/13; App State #24 in both.

Thee AAC has as many teams getting votes (AP) as the SEC and more than the Big Ten.

    Coaches Poll : #21

    AP: 25

Not sure about the AP ranking here. Showing today's poll was released on Oct 11 which was Friday. Something's weird.
