Welcome Chad Wilt

Chad Wilt will be joining the Bearcats as D Line coach. He’s most recently been with Army.

This was neccessitated by Steve Stripling’s retirement.

I sure missed the Steve Stripling announcement. Good man, good coach. He served UC well. Happy retirement to him, and many thanks for his service (and the Belk Bowl victory)!

Chad Wilt sounds like a good hire: Army (he's been involved in their recent improvement to a real good team), Maryland, Ball State, Virginia and Liberty, all as the D-line coach with other responsibilities here and there. He's a graduate of Taylor University in Indiana (as an aside, go to youtube sometime and search for Taylor University Silent Night; it's a hoot).

I'm interested in how this hire came about because I don't see any direct UC connections.
