  • TJ Holl grad transfer LB

We've offered TJ Holl, a grad transfer LB from Colgate U. Holl was the leader of the Colgate defense. He has a couple of national FCS weekly awards on his list. Appears he has one year to to play and as a grad transfer he's eligible immediately.

Well Boyd from Rhode Island worked out pretty darn well for the year, but Colgate - I'm from NY and I thought they played Division 3 if at all. Have a niece who's a Raider grad, but from quite a while ago and doubt she knows anything about this guy. But if he's another Boyd level addition that would be great.

Just checked and Colgate is FCS, so only one division down from us. Same level of competition as URI.

Kid's played a lot of football. He'd be a nice pickup on a defense with a lot of young guys. Losing Clements, Copeland, Cortez and Gilbert, it would be a good get.

Big kid, 6'1, 230lbs at outside lb

Holl, the 2018 Patriot League Football Defensive Player of the Year, finished second in the Patriot League and 15th in the FCS with 121 total tackles (10.1 tackles/gm.), while racking up 17.0 tackles for loss for 44 yards, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception. The Cranberry Township, Pa. native was part of a Colgate defense that finished atop the nation’s leaders in total defense (237.7 yds/gm) and scoring defense (9.3 pts/gm) while leading the Raiders to the NCAA DI FCS Quarterfinals.
