PAC12 is thought to be one of the other conferences
Not to be a debbie downer, but it's not all good attention.

Who cares. It is national attention. UC's basketball program needs attention in just about any way it can get it.

This continues to point at four sixteen teams conferences that will schedule within their own. They will probably break away from the NCAA too.

I don't see this as anything but a giant yawn.

If the collude, perhaps we don't go to either. If they don't, perhaps we do.

We will have opportunities in the future regardless.

It would be interesting if all the teams were placed on the field and then four TV executives got to pick four new conferences (one team at a time like the old playground selection). The interest would come from who would pick for potential wins and who would pick for potential TV shares/profits. How many of the SEC teams would be selected before any other team? Would a northeast team be selected solely on the NY market? Would Texas be enough for the southeast TV deal?

It really is a slow news day isn't it?
