Nothing at all. A press release basically saying they had a productive meeting and wouldn't give any details at this time. A few of the ADs have said it went well and one (Memphis, I think) said more would be known in the next 2-3 weeks.

Sounds like they are planning something, but it isn't finalized.

I took some time and did a google search. I did not learn anything new but here are a few of the links.

Summary is that the BEast expects for TV contract in Feb. SMU is committed. Speculation that SDSU will remain. The big 4 (BIG, Big12, SEC, PAC) will be in the National hunt in 2014.

I don't think anything is announced until SDSU makes up their mind by the end of the month.

MWC official: "Meaningful discussions continue" with SDSU

San Diego State is still being courted by Mountain West
(MWC deputy commissioner Bret Gilliland) said Friday it's 99 percent certain that there will be 11 or 12 teams for the 2013 season and meaningful discussions continue with San Diego State officials...

"We're preparing as much as we can for an 11-team schedule, but if it goes to 12, we've looked at some plans and we're ready to go," Gilliland said. "Our outside timetable is Jan. 31, but obviously we would like to move on this as quickly as possible."

Denny Janson on WCPO (9) just stated that SDSU is staying in the MWC. Not a surprise.

Agreed, that makes alot more sense than joining the BEast
Not to be a debbie downer, but it's not all good attention.

Who cares. It is national attention. UC's basketball program needs attention in just about any way it can get it.

After Boise bolted, it made no sense. I can't blame them.
