  • Smu 1/7 7:00 espnu

SMU is 6-0 on the season including wins @ Dayton and @ Temple. The Mustangs are led by Kendric Davis this season. Tyson Jolly left the team for personal reasons earlier in the year but SMU seems to be firing on all cylinders anyway. Feron Hunt is back from an injury year and Darius McNeil got his waiver to play. Everyone in the starting lineup averages in double figures. SMU averages 84 ppg as a team and unless the Bearcats discover a consistent outside offense before Sunday we will be hard pressed to keep up with them.

If you'd like to scout them, they play Houston at Moody Coliseum today at 7:00 on ESPN2

The SMU game is Wednesday. Hopefully, the hoops will be bigger and our 3's and FT's will find the bottom of the net! Go Bearcats!

      The game is Thursday

SMU got routed by Houston in Moody and played without Caleb Mills who has left the team.

Vogt is just god awful on defense.. You gotta love the announcers letting us know just how soft this team is compared to past Huggins teams...

I like what I'm seeing from Harvey so far.

Dejulius is this years version of chris mcneal. Make a rare but yet beautiful drive to the basket and roll the shot off the rim or just barely get the ball to even touch the rim, or bank it too hard of the board. Unbelievable!

Playing more like Bearcats! Five athletes on the floor gives us a chance.

Thought they played much better in the last 7mins of the game... Although Williams played outta control the last two minutes..

                        Harvey
                        Davenport

With saunders in we turn the ball over way too much.. Hes actually too quick for this team at this point in time, If Brannen could utilize him for his quickness on defense but slow him down on the offensive side we would be much better off. But how do you suppress a roadrunner?

Dejulias seems to be a good passer but that’s about it-timid to the boop and a defensive liability. Harvey looks really good. Davenport looks solid too

I would go along woth sitting williams at this juncture just for grins and giggles to see what we have for the future.
