    The American has two teams in the NIT

    Wichita State #6 plays Furman #3 on 03/20
    Memphis #3 plays San Diego State #6 on 03/19

    Notable: Xavier #3 vs Toledo #6 on 03/20

    In the CBI the American has one team
    S Florida plays Stony Brook on 03/20

    Notable: West Virginia vs Grand Canyon on 03/20

          Wichita St vs Lipscomb for the NIT semis on Tuesday.

            USF wins game one in Tampa, 63-61 before a crowd of 2,375. DePaul hosts game two tomorrow.

              And Wichita State is out of the NIT. They had an 11 point lead with about 8 minutes left (61-50) but scored only 3 FTs the rest of the game to lose 71-64.

              Their opponent, Lipscomb, will face Texas (who beat TCU) in the final Thursday.

                USF lost game two in Chicago in OT, 100-96, in front of a "crowd" of 1,704. The deciding game is Friday in Chicago.

                  Yep, old Depaul struggles with attendance even in what i think is a new arena. Crazy in an area that big, but Chicago is completely unhinged as it is ,so maybe it makes sense.

                    USF wins the championship of the CBI, beating DePaul in the rubber game 77-65. 1,876 watched as the Bulls cut down the nets. Not a bad season for the Bulls, ending the season 24-14.
