Wild game at USF today. The Bulls ran out to an incredible 27-1 lead and held a 38-13 edge at the half. Then, the Tigers, pressing furiously, put up 65 in the second half before falling, 84-78.

Jeremiah Martin, scoreless in the first half, finished with a blistering 41. He hit 7 treys, some contested.

Four Tigers and one Bull fouled out.

This is the first time since the AAC was formed that USF have won three straight conference games. The Bulls came in at #97 in the KenPom and certainly will slide up a tad. Who'd a thunk that at season's start?

Temple is blowing UConn away in Philly. The Huskies are mere shells of themselves. Jalen Adams apparently is done for the year with ACL/MCL tears. Not good for him or UConn.

As much as I dislike UConn, that really stinks for Adams. Stuck around for a new coach in his senior year and blows out his knee. Easily their best player.

Adams' kneed may be better than iniitially reported. Per Hartford Courant, sprained MCL. He'll still miss some time, in all likelihood.

Two BIG Games tonight for the Conference .... UC at Memphis and Houston at UCF.... We need Houston to beat UCF... I would hate to go into Houston after a UCF Loss....

Unfortunately, the two games are on opposite each other; UC on ESPN2 & UH on CBSSN. I'll check in on UH during breaks, but UC is more important, by far. Just win, baby!

Actually, I don't believe the result of tonight's game will matter much to UH as far as their intensity to beat UC. They're going to be amped either way.

Per UConn, Jalen Adams has an MCL sprain and will be out 4-6 weeks which pretty much means he’s done in college but at least didn’t totally trash his knee

Only two games today. The early bird special is Temple @ Tulsa which is probably worth watching. Game is on the U at noon.

UCF are destroying USF in Orlando, 70-48, at 5:47.

Temple won at home over SMU, pulling away late, 82-74.

Final: Memphis 79, @ ECU 69. The Pirates led, 61-60, before Jeremiah Martin took over. He finished with 31.

Houston at Uconn tonight. Doubt the Huskies put up much of a fight without Adams on the floor.

Tacko Fall had his biggest game of the season with 21 points, 9 boards, and 5 blocks. 21 free throw attempts (only 9 made).
