Height: 6-9
Interest: 1

8/18: "is likely to choose a school from his top five though he would not rule out Virginia, North Carolina State, and Seton Hall. Little said his top five in no particular order are Kentucky, Wake Forest, Michigan, Stanford, and Tennessee. Little said he will have in home visits with Kentucky and Tennessee on Sept. 9th. Stanford is coming in on Sept. 8th and Little will officially visit Stanford on Sept. 30th. Little also expects to visit Kentucky on Oct. 6th and Michigan on October 13th. Wake Forest hs an in home visit scheduled for Sept. 16th." - Insiders Report

8/11: "recently returned from a hiatus at a Global Leadership Conference where he met other youth leaders from around the world. As you could probably tell, Little is one of the top student-athletes in the nation. Sometimes, a young man will just surprise you. In fact, that's exactly what happened with VA C Robert Little from March to July. Little dedicated himself to conditioning and is now a legitimate high major prospect. In fact, he'll be listed among the top 35 players in the country when Rivals100Hoops announces its new listing. Thus far, Little has been offered grants by Stanford, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. He's still in the process of filling out his Stanford application, but it looks like a go from the Cardinals perspective as far as offering a scholarship. Last season, Little averaged 14 points and 11 rebounds per game at Paul VI. However, those averages are bound to improve this year. Little has yet to set up any official or in-home visits, but will do so in the near future. He has an SAT of 1,110 and his GPA is above a 4.0 so academics aren't a concern. "I am looking for the long term, and I feel as though basketball is going to take care of itself," Little said. "I'm looking for the academics, the networking and how a school is going to treat me outside of basketball." Virginia had been on Little's list of potential schools, but when the Cavaliers failed to offer him a grant after an unofficial visit, Little decided to look elsewhere." - MidWest Hoops

7/22: "Several ACC programs are lining up in a bid to secure the services of 6-9 D.C. Assault big man Robert Little. Little began the summer at the adidas ABCD Camp with a solid showing and has continued his fine play out West at the Big Time and Best of Summer Tournaments. Robert, who attends Paul VI H.S. in Fairfax, Va., is an excellent student with an interest in attending medical school after his basketball playing days are over. In recent days, North Carolina has called Little to express a preliminary interest. In addition to the Tar Heels, Little told the Insiders Report that many new schools are also trying to get in the mix with him. Among the schools currently under consideration by Little are George Washington, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Georgia Tech, N.C. State, Virginia, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Southern Cal, Stanford, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Utah and George Mason. Many of the coaches from those programs have been in to watch Little play at the Best of the Summer and adidas Big Time Tournaments. After two weeks on the road, Little is continuing to improve his conditioning and has been a physical and offensive presence for the Assault team with his widebody. As a junior at Paul VI under Red Jenkins, Little averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks per contest. College coaches love the fact that he holds a 4.0 GPA and has posted an 1110 on the SAT. Little has become a major ACC priority, and he has already unofficially visited Virginia. The Insiders Report will continue to keep you posted on his recruitment over the coming weeks.

7/21: "One of the most improved players from March to July is VA C Robert Little. His stock is soaring after impressive performances at both the adidas ABCD Camp and Big Time in Las Vegas. Yes, Wayne Simien might have outplayed him in Vegas, but his development is impressive. At the Richmond Tony Squires Invitational a few months ago, I had the opportunity to watch VA C Robert Little in action. My initial thoughts were that he was a nice prospect, but had a lot of work to do. Well, 15 pounds later and in better shape, Little is a fine prospect. He committed himself to playing better basketball and working his way into better condition. The results: He's now a bonafide top college prospect. "I stopped thinking about what to do," Little said. "I'm not playing against a team, I am playing against myself." And he's playing well. Little's size in the post is significant. His explosiveness is evident and he's scoring around the basket with an adequate touch and work ethic inside. Simply put, he's now a different player; one who can play at the highest level and do so successfully. Little has offers from Tennessee, Oklahoma, Virginia, Michigan and Yale. Kentucky, Stanford, N.C. State and Notre Dame are all showing interest in him. His development is a testament to his character and those around him who have helped him become the player he is. He's a strong candidate for the most improved player this summer recruiting circuit has seen." - Rivals100Hoops

7/20: "Michigan (and Cincinnati) have recently gotten involved with one of the hot rising stars of the summer recruiting season. Robert Little is a 6-9 center/power forward from Fairfax (Va.) Pope Paul VI whose name might be a little deceptive. He currently carries about 260 pounds, and while most scouts feel that he would benefit from dropping a few of them, they also agree that he is doing just fine now, and it is hard to argue with his adidas ABCD Camp-leading 9.6 rebound average. Little's numbers in the classroom are equally impressive, as he has a 4.0 grade point average and an 1110 SAT score. Last season he averaged 15 ppg and 10 rpg, according to the McDonald's All-America website. "Robert has very good hands and knows how to finish around the basket," said The ACC Recruiting Update. "He isn't exceptionally quick, but can hold his own running the floor." Dave Telep of Rivals 100 Hoops was also impressed when he saw Little at adidas. "Robert Little is better than I originally thought. Once he slims down, he's going to be a very effective low post scorer." A number of schools apparently agree. Little is presently looking at a number of schools, including Virginia -- where he recently visited -- Tennessee, NC State, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Cincinnati, and Georgia Tech. Little is high on U-M's list of prospective recruits. The Wolverines will look to be one of the schools left standing when he trims his list and narrows his thought process. - michigan.rivals
