East Carolina is trying to make a run at Horace as ex-Cincinnati Stuff coah Greg Herenda is now an assistant there. He is also considering Tulane (who may have some scholarship problems), UAB, and Duquesne. Danny's grades are very good, but I don't have a report on what he got on the test." - Ozie Davis III on MidWestHoops

Previously Horace turned in some fine spring performances for Jerry Watson's All-Ohio Red program. Horace averaged 17 points and 15 rebounds per game as a junior at Western Hills H.S. He said he has a 3.3 GPA and is just short of qualifying on the ACT. Horace said he would like to cut his list down sometime in August and perhaps take some visits during the Fall before he makes a decision. Horace told the Insiders Report he would like to sign in November if he feels comfortable with the right school." - Insiders Report
7/16: "Big time over-achiever. Plays much bigger than 6'6, and was arguably the best rebounder in the camp. He's athletic and strong. Danny runs the break well and finishes plays above the rim. Looked like he was going to pull the backboard down a couple of times. He got calls from Wright St., Duquesne, Nebraska, Ohio University, Miami of Ohio, Western Michigan. Look for a lot of big timers to try to get nvolved later this summer and fall." - AllStar Report, ABCD Report Card
