12/10/01: Jones is averaging 18 ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apg and 2 spg at Georgetown College. He has started all 12 of their games so far. He is shooting 56% from the field, 48% from the 3point line and 81% from the line. - Mike Ryan
7/11/01: Agreed to attend Georgetown College, KY / NAIA.
8/30/00: "What he means to the Bearcats: The Tallahassee, Fla., grad committed to Huggins in the summer of 1999. He could be the best jump shooter Huggins has and he and McElroy should slide very smoothly into the lineup spots vacated by Pete Mickeal and DerMarr Johnson." - FoxSports, Burlison
8/5/00: Moved to Inactive List
6/25: Rumors abound that Antwan broke his leg recently. (Again this is definitely a rumor). Most interesting source is one person who said that Don Little said that Antwan had broken his leg.
3/2/00: "..connected on 4-8 3-point attempts in the opening 20 minutes. Cent Florida switched from man defense on Jones to a matchup zone in which as many as three players were assigned to keep track of him. As a result, Jones scored just three of his team-high 20 points in the second half. Team finished 25-5 on the year and are now out of the playoffs. Final: Cent FLA: 91 TCC: 89. - Tallahassee Democrat.
2/25/00: Named Panhandle Conference Player of the Year.
1/25/00: "...proved his all-American status with 29 points. Jones connected on four of nine three-point shots and brought the near capacity crowd at the Eagledome to their feet with six rim rattling dunks on his way to shooting 60-percent (12-of-20) from the floor. - sportsonly.com
11/10/99: SIGNED LOI WITH CINCINNATI.
11/7/99: Scored a game-high 31 points in a 119-87 victory over Chattanooga. Connected on six 3-pointers, including all five long-range attempts he had in the second half to help turn a nine-point game at the half into a rout. - tdo.com
11/5/99: "I think I should go out there and be first in everything," Jones said. "That's's what I'm trying to develop right now." - Antwan Jones, tdo.com
11/4/99: Having drawn comparisons to NBA stars Reggie Miller and Scottie Pippen, Jones is TCC’s most electrifying player; but Coach Gillespie realizes his superstar still has work to do before reaching the next level. “He has to continue to get stronger so he can withstand the physical play from some of the teams we will face.” - tdo.com
11/3/99: scored 32 points in season opener for TCC.
