03/25/07: "The 6-foot junior point guard is among the most talented and complete players in Passaic County, and is being heavily recruited by major Division I programs, with Seton Hall, Memphis and Marquette pursuing him the hardest.

A first-team All-Passaic and All-B-PSL Carpenter pick, Theodore averaged 16.9 points and 6.7 assists and hit 38 3-pointers despite missing half a dozen games for a variety of injuries. Paterson Catholic reached the Passaic County Tournament semifinals and the North Non-Public B semis.

During the regular season he put up 28 points in a season-opening win over Lodi and later scored 20 with 10 assists in a showcase game victory over Campus Magnet of Queens. In the quarterfinals of the county tournament against Passaic Valley, Theodore had 18 points, six steals, four rebounds and four assists. A week later, in a thrilling matchup with eventual champion DePaul, Theodore scored 31 points before fouling out. In a first-round playoff win over St. Mary, the junior had a double-double of 16 points and 15 assists.

A tremendously quick and smart player who has played at the highest levels on the AAU circuit, Theodore did well this year to incorporate his younger teammates into the offense. Freshman forward Fuquan Edwin averaged 15.4 points, often benefiting from accurate passes from Theodore, while senior guard Jare Adams averaged 16.5 points. "For him to make All-Area, he was a major part of the team, and basically I think the sky's the limit for him," PC coach Damon Wright said. "I think he's going to come back next year and his maturity level will bring him over the top." - NJ Herald

"Jordan Theodore is one of the best guards in our state right now, and a key for us is trying to keep him under control," Hurley said. "He's a very effective player." - North Jersey Herald
