06/20/06: "DeJuan is a 6-foot-7, wide body," Stright said. "His stock is really rising. He battled knee injuries the last two AAU seasons, but his knees are now OK and schools are looking at him." - www.RivalsHoops.com

06/02/06: "We know doctors gave him the 'all clear' months ago, but he still wears the big brace on his knee for psychological reasons. This wide body has very good hands and is very clever around the hoop. In one game, he grabbed an unbelievable 23 rebounds, 19 on offensive end, while scoring 36 points." - www.PrepHoopsOnline.com
04/24/06: The 6-foot-8, 255-pound Blair finished with a game-high 24 points, while Bryant and Kennedy each added 11, Pope 10 and Pryor eight and Elk County Catholic's Jesse Bosnik seven for the JOTS, who reached the 16-and-under final of the 2005 AAU national championships last summer. "I love being the underdogs," Blair said. "This is our first stop on the road to the nationals." The underdog role actually belonged to the D1 Greyhounds, who reached the final without the help of O.J. Mayo. A 6-foot-4 guard who is considered the nation's top junior, Mayo made waves by leaving the Reebok-sponsored Greyhounds this weekend to play for the Nike-sponsored Miami Tropics in the Kingwood Classic in Houston." - Pittsburg Tribune

"Blair is considered one of the best sophomores in the state, and Division I colleges already are showing interest. "We keep pushing him to stay in his back yard and go to Pitt," said Schenley coach Fred Skrocki. "They like him. Duquesne would love to have him. North Carolina State sends something every week. Boston College is interested." Blair was 6 feet 1 in 6th grade with a wide body. That's when people started calling him "Baby Shaq." "Now, everyone just calls me Big Fella," Blair said."
