08/01/06: Adam Hrycaniuk arrived in Cincinnati on Saturday is enrolled in school and on scholarship. He is still waiting to hear of the NCAA decision of his case.

As a best case scenario he will be eligible right away. A worst case scenario is he would have to sit out a few games, pay back whatever compensation he was given or a combination of the two. Its hard to say if he would have to sit out a few games or the entire season, thereby prompting some more decision making by Hrycaniuk in his decision to stay. The NCAA's final decision for this last appeal is impossible to predict.

Both Hrycaniuk and Hernol Hall are not able to work out in pickup games until they are cleared medically. Both hope to be cleared by the end of the week. - Mike Ryan

04/25/06: "Representatives from 57 four-year basketball programs, 45 of the nation's best junior college players, a boisterous crowd, NJCAA officials and Kilgore College men's basketball coach Scott Schumacher left Masters Gymnasium Saturday night after experiencing the first junior college all-star weekend in years, which included an entertaining nightcap between Texas all-stars and a team of national all-stars. (snip)
The Texas team, coached by Angelina's Guy Davis, gave as good as they got, including very some very strong play by Trinity Valley's Adam Hrycaniuk, but ultimately fell short, 109-94, in a very entertaining contest that had a lot of the crowd standing. Hrycaniuk scored 14 and had 11 rebounds." - Kilgore News Herald

04/18/06: "Another junior college recruit, Adam Hrycaniuk, was scheduled to visit UC this past weekend. Trinity Valley Community College assistant coach Wade Scott said he hadn't talked to Hrycaniuk since he returned, but knew that Hrycaniuk was supposed to be at UC this weekend. The 6-foot-10 forward from Poland was also being recruited by Missouri-Kansas City." - www.CincyPost.com (1 to 5)

04/10/06: "Adam has basically narrowed down his choice to UMKC," said Trinity Valley assistant coach Wade Scott. "As far as I know he's (committed), that's what he said he was going to do and that's what Coach Spencer said he was going to do, but I'm going to leave it at that. (snip) I think a low-mid major conference like the Mid-Continent should be good for him," Scott said. "He can shoot it, has some size, and he's gotten stronger since he's been here." - www.RivalsHoops.com

02/13/06: "Currently averaging 12.0 points and a team-leading 6.9 rebounds, Hrycaniuk has been a key component for the Cardinals in the paint. "We're pretty balanced, but he's our go-to guy down low," said Trinity Valley assistant coach Jamon Copeland. "He's just got a great body and he's very skilled too." Of the other suitors, Copeland mentions Missouri-Kansas City, Murray State, Houston, Wyoming, Hawaii, and Fresno State as just some of the schools who have called and come in to take a look at Hrycaniuk." - www.RivalsHoops.com
