The Bearcats will get one of the top of the line point guards in the class of 2001, if Swift accepts the offer. Swift also noted that UNC-Charlotte, Marquette and Wisconsin are on his list. He has qualified on the SAT and holds a 2.7 GPA. Swift has all the tools of a high major guard but doesn't get the looks of the scouts or college coaches due to his lack of height and size. 6/27: "Mike Duncan, the head coach for the Cleveland Basketball Club called HMH yesterday to update the situations surrounding some of his better players. 'Brian Swift is fully qualified now, scoring an 890 on his SAT, and also has a 2.7 GPA' said Duncan. Swift's list according to Duncan is Cincinnati, Ohio State, Pitt, UNC-Charlotte, Marquette and recent addition Michigan State, who have been trying to "get involved lately." Swift is a 5'10 point guard with the ability to hold his own against the premium in the class of 2001 in our opinion. - High Major Hoops

I love playing with Omari because he plays so hard and he is afraid of no one. I think Omari will go to Cincy because I think that is a good style for him and he will play there."
