08/16/08: "Adrion Graves has requested and received his release from the Xavier basketball team. Graves, a 6-foot-4 guard, averaged 1.9 points, 1.0 rebounds and 8.1 minutes over 34 games last season, when he was a sophomore.

Graves, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard ranked among the top 10 seniors in Ohio by several web sites, had long been a top target for XU, but it appeared Xavier was going to lose out on him to crosstown rival Cincinnati.
