'Bob Huggins is a nice guy. We talked a lot about their program and Kenyon Martin. We talked about him a lot. He talked about their practices and how to get into shape and losing body fat. 08/25/04: "Thomas took a major leap forward at the Reebok ABCD Camp in New Jersey early this summer. He went to a mid-major prospect to high-level recruit. His AAU team went to the finals on the Big Time Tournament in Las Vergas where Indy Spice Heat beat them. Adrian Thomas scored 17 points in the loss. His team then reached the final eight of the Reebok Tournament in LA.
As a junior Adrian Thomas helped Flanagan High School to the regional finals. His school finished 25-4. Thomas averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds this past season. He had a career high of 33 points this year. As a freshman he once grabbed 25 rebounds in one game.
Thomas was named first team All-Broward County by the Miami Herald and the Sun-Sentinel named him Player of the Year in Broward County. The Florida Sports Writers Association voted him second team All-State in the large school classification (6A-4A). - PantherLair.com
