5/20: "Syracuse, Florida, Virginia, Villanova, UConn, Seton Hall and St. John's are among the highly interested parties. Roberts says that he feels like all of them have offered." - Insiders (moved to inactive)
5/14: "He has opened a lot of eyes over the last four to six weeks, and he opened mine over the weekend. Based on what I had been hearing, I expected to see a nice player. He was better than nice. He was pretty darned good, and far more versatile than I had imagined. Roberts handled the ball exceptionally well for a combo forward, often bringing it up in transition. He was also very skilled in attacking the basket. He proved to be a difficult match-up for most opponents, because he’s too quick and skilled for most power forwards, but tall and long-armed enough to shoot over most wing forwards. He made the All-Tournament team over such highly-touted teammates as Darryl Watkins, Jamar Nutter, Will Sheridan and Sean Banks. He entered this spring as one of the most underrated players in the country, but the word is out, and he won’t be underrated much longer." - Virginia.Rivals Southern Invitational Recap. (2 to 1)
4/27: "The offers keep rolling in for St. Anthony's (NJ) power forward Terrence Roberts. An impressive list of schools visited Jersey City last week to see the 6'8", 205 pound junior perform during open gym sessions. Virtually all walked away impressed, as Roberts was offered a scholarship by every school in attendance. Syracuse, Florida, UConn, Maryland, St. Johns, BC, Villanova, UMass, Providence, Virginia, and Seton Hall headlined the list." - Rivals Hoops
4/24/02: (UConn's Jim) Calhoun was in New Jersey Monday. Two reasons: Michael Nardi, a 6-1 junior guard from Avenel (St. Patrick's), and Terrence Roberts, a 6-8 junior forward from Jersey City who plays at St. Anthony's." - Hartford Courant
4/22/02: "Terrence Roberts, a 6-8, 205 pound junior power/combination forward from St. Anthony's H.S. in Jersey City, New Jersey, is a bouncy athlete. His quick leaping ability makes him a potent force in the paint, but Roberts can also step away and knock down the short-midrange jumper on occasion. He has long arms, and when he extends them to dunk, it is impossible to block his shot. Roberts' best days are ahead of him. He will likely be a top 25 player by the time he finishes school under Bobby Hurley, Sr. at St. Anthony's. Roberts told Rivalshoops.com this past weekend at the Wayne Simone tournament that he has had in school visits with Massachusetts, Syracuse, Florida, and Villanova. "They have all gone well," Roberts said. "Most of the schools just want to inform you about their programs where I would fit in. I enjoyed each visit." Roberts has also received significant interest from Louisville, St. Joe's, UConn, Notre Dame, Providence, Rutgers, St. John's, Seton Hall, CINCINNATI, St. Peter's and Wichita State." - Rivals Hoops/MSNBC
3/17: Listed as the 25th best player in the class of 2003 (LeBron #1, Shannon Brown #4, Tack Minor 26, Shawn Taylor 37). - Hoop Scoop
3/4/02: "Terrence Roberts is a 6-foot-8, 205-pound junior power/combination forward from St. Anthony's High School in Jersey City, N.J. The long and agile young man will be one of the most recruited big men in the class of 2003. Roberts is an athlete who thrives in St. Anthony's up-tempo attack of excellent guards. His quick leaping ability make him a potent force in the paint, but he can also step away and knock down the short-midrange jumper on occasion. "Terrence has pretty good upside," St. Anthony's Head Coach Bob Hurley told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com. "We need to work on getting him stronger, but he's very agile and can step out to 13 or 14 feet.... He runs well and he just needs to get stronger and play more physical too." Roberts said that he has been offered thus far by UMass, and has significant interest from Syracuse, St. Joe's, UConn, Notre Dame, Providence, Rutgers, St. John's, Seton Hall, Villanova, CINCINNATI, St. Peter's and Wichita State." - projo.com (Providence Friars)
2/10: "High schooler Terrence Roberts, the next hot recruit from Jersey City powerhouse St. Anthony, showed Villanova coaches Jay Wright and Fred Hill Jr. he has the stuff to be a Big East player when he held up against Wildcats super recruit Jason Fraser of Amityville, N.Y., at the Prime Time Shootout in Trenton, N.J. Roberts is a long 6-8 baseline player with a smooth shooting stroke and excellent athletic ability. He already has a scholarship offer from Massachusetts and has been hearing from Connecticut, Syracuse and Duke. Roberts didn’t play as a sophomore and was limited in summer basketball because of a knee injury." - DeCourcy, Sporting News
2/8/02: "The St. Anthony's victory (over Top 5 ranked Amityville NY)was a coming-out party for 6-foot-8 junior center Terrence Roberts, who finished the night with 18 points and held Amityville stud Jason Fraser to 17 points." - Student Sports
