Law School move to The Banks canned

Why this article doesn't mention Tom Humes, the former board chair, I'm not sure, but Ono's departure and a new board chair has effectively killed this idea. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the idea of not moving to The Banks part of the reason why Gregory Williams was removed as president among other things?

I was surprised the article said the students were against the idea... If I was a Law Student I would be ecstatic about the opportunity to study in a Law School surrounded by Law Firms Downtown and sponsored by some of them... WTF is not to like// just my two cents.

But Murphy's Pub is across from the UC Law School in Clifton not on the Banks.

As a UC Law alum, it doesn't matter to me where the school is, but a new building is needed badly.

The proximity to law firms downtown is nice (in The Banks scenario), but it's still super close as is being in Clifton - something that schools in college towns can't offer.
