I did not know that this guy had been recruited. Apparently he plays some sort of club football in Germany. He is huge, and from the video, looks pretty good. Check it out!

I would be surprised if he doesn’t speak English. Most Germans learn it as a second language. That’s true in large areas of Western Europe. My daughter lives in Amsterdam & English immersion is required in the high schools. Virtually everyone I’ve met there & in Germany speaks good English.

This is just plain incorrect Chris. You haven't been able to get of German secondary school (Gymnasium) without learning English in 20 something years. It's required.
