Butch Jones era. He coached the Belk Bowl we won after Butch went to UT.

​A great hire. The way he held that Belk Bow-winning team together was outstanding. I was dreading the trip to Charlotte based on the previous coach-change-bowl game situation (Sugar Bowl), but when we attended the bowl kickoff at Dave & Buster's we could sense a much different attitude about the team. And that night he made it all about the players. I gained a great admiration of him that night and at the game.

He's a very mature presence that should be helpful to our staff.
