Frisco Bowl

The Miami Beach bowl is now the Frisco Bowl and will be played in the MLS' FC Dallas Toyota Stadium in downtown Frisco TX. The stadium was already hosting the FCS championship game and it seats about 20K. If we happen to end up here there it's about 30 minutes from DFW Airport and there are LOTS of hotel options in Frisco. It's also close to the Dallas Cowboys insane new practice facility and mixed use development, The Star.

Interesting. Three bowl games in the DFW Metroplex area within a span of 8 days, if the bowl schedule remains fairly constant from last year. But at 20,000 seats it shouldn't be difficult to fill. Further, at 20,000 seats, it's obvious this is a TV schedule filler more than a typical bowl game atmosphere.
