I know a lot of people are down about the team. I personally wouldn't prefer Tubbs stays here. But this is about the players. And last week they stopped a pretty hungry ECU team on the road when their ONLY senior on D was tossed from the game. They FINISHED the season when they had other wise looked down and out and that's the bearcat way. So this bowl game that we ABSOLUTELY SHOULD ACCEPT is for them. After all we build for 10 seasons as a program and fan base; we needed this team to have an answer and carry momentum into next year; especially since the conference is getting better

You need to go to the bowl if only for the extra practice sessions - remember that 79 other teams will be getting those additional sessions, including all the "quality" teams in our current conference. -

bains: No Bowl Announcement For UC Until After Saturday
According to UC, the bowl committees are waiting until everything shakes out this weekend with the several conference championship games before sending Cincinnati a formal invitation.Comment

OK, now CBS Sports, who usually is very good in projecting bowl games, has UC playing 5-7 St. Jose State in the St. Petersburg Bowl.... wow, how exciting. Consider 7-5 Louisville, while in the ACC, is projected to play UCLA in the Sun Bowl.....
