  • Upon closer analysis!

OK, so my cousin and I went to the Nippert "dedication" tonight, and all areas were open, so I can report some favorable things I did not see at the high school games last week, due to parts of the stadium being roped off then.

    1. Walkways at the top of the lower deck are 4-5 feet wider.
    2. The old east upper deck has two walkways to new, upper level restrooms and concessions, so those folks will not have to come to the level level, thus reducing the congestion.
    3. Views from the new padded upper seats are fantastic. We bought two tickets to the UC-Miami, Florida game (food, drink included), at $400 each. Well, you only live once
    4. Much more modern feel to the whole place. Nice electronics/message boards.

    Still....
    1. Doesn't seem like there are any more/bigger restrooms
    2. Concession space does not seem any bigger.

    Conclusion:

I would rate the improvements as "very good", but not "great".

Let us all know what you think!
