  • UC ranked #61 by CFN

#62, Indiana and #60, Iowa State. I think we are better than this....

    61. Cincinnati
    2014 CFN Season Ranking: 9-3 2015 Prediction: 9-3
3 Best Players: 1) QB Gunner Kiel, Jr. 2) OT Parker Ehinger, Sr. 3) DE Silverberry Mouhon, Sr.
Relative Strengths: 1) Quarterback, 2) Receiver, 3) Offensive Line
Not Quite As Strong ... 1) Secondary, 2) Linebacker, 3) Defensive Line
The season will be a success if … the Bearcats win the American … outright. Cincinnati grabbed a share of the crown in 2014, but went 0-1 versus fellow co-champs Memphis and UCF. This year, the Bearcats will go head-to-head with both, as well as Houston and East Carolina in league play. If Cincy wants to show that it’s the new beast of the old Big East, this would be the year to do it, when the offense is humming and a chunk of the league is in transition.

We are better than this if we stay healthy and the defense holds up better this year IMO.

      pitiful.

Where's is Tommy T's signature win. Just a short time ago the cats were ranked second. This is unacceptable.

This is total cr@p by a hack reporter. He pulled up the same article from last year and the year before that and the year before that and did find and replace. If UC does not average more than 40+ per game with this QB and receiving crew, the OC should be fired. They may average more points than the bball team.

I think we would all agree we are better than this IF Kiel stays healthy. However, that is a concern given last year so we will have to earn it, and the schedule is clearly there. Hopefully we start to see improvement on the defensive side of the ball this year given the number of guys we redshirted last year and before which should add considerably to our depth on that side of the ball. Preseason rankings are forgotten once the games kickoff.
