I curious to know how many of these kids were actually recruited by Huggins
and how many were actually already there when he took the job.

Subject: [UC Basketball] OT (Not UC) Former Bearcat Coach Improves His
TeamOn AND Off The Court
On the floor, K-State is enjoying its finest season in nearly two decades.
The Wildcats are 23-11 and will play DePaul (19-13) at 8 p.m. Monday in the
second round of the NIT. But that's old news. What some may not know is the
Wildcats are excelling in the classroom, too.
Six members of Huggins' team - Stewart, Serge Afeli, Lance Harris, Luis
Colon, Chris Merriewether and Brady Johnson - have been honored for their
academic achievements this season. Stewart and Afeli recently garnered spots
on the Academic All-Big 12 squad, and all six were named in February to the
Big 12 commissioner's honor roll, which recognizes student-athletes who
earned grade-point averages of 3.0 of better during the fall.
