BE vs. C-USA

This year, we have a great opportunity to objectively compare the BE - C-USA
question, because the the Bearcats are not ivolved in the current situation.
It is my position, that in past years, the Bearcats' success in C-USA would
give the appearance of a stronger team than what we actually had.
I think the same can be said of Memphis this year. How would Memphis have
fared if Louisville and Marquetter were still in C-USA? I believe those
three teams would have fought it out for the conference title. If you put
those teams on a neutral court, who wins? Or, if Memphis was in the BE, how
would they fare? They were 1-2 against 1-50 rated teams! There 3 losses
are to Georgia Tech (10 seed), Tennessee (5 seed), and Arizona (6 seed)
I would guess those three teams are pretty comparable. Yet, Memphis is a 2
seed, Louisville is a 6 seed, and Marquette is an 8 seed.
I'm guessing Memphis loses to the Nevada/Creighton winner. FYI - Memphis
beat Gonzaga by 1 at Gonzaga who is a 10 seed (it was right after Gonzaga
lost a starter).
Go Cats!
