Don, I actually agree with you on this. I think we're placing wayyy too much
faith in the incoming freshman class. These people are not the saviors of
the program. They're freshman. They'll play like it. 

I do think we'll make the Big East Tourney but it's going to be a low seed.

I was in military service 61-63 also and wound up in Vietnam in 65. I think

everyone assumes UC will be in the Big East tournament next year, even me to
a 
 certain extent, but it's not a given that's for sure. I can see 3 teams it

should be easy to move ahead of but the fourth team might be something else.

As  UC is improving so are some of the other bottom feeders. It's just going
to 
come  down to who improves the most. UC could be anywhere from a bubble NCAA

team to a  bubble Big East tournament team. Quite a spread but so many
factors 
come into  play it's more of a guess right now than anything. Fans of only 
the last 15  years think it's automatic, but the one's of us who went
through 
the Yates years  know better. Don
