The official reason is he resigned because of heart problems, the
unofficial reason is he was forced out by the big money boosters of the
time who did not like his style. They were very upset about losing the
1963 final when the team slowed the ball down with a 15 point second
half lead. He won by playing his style, he wrote a book on it
"Cincinnati Power Basketball", I have no idea if any copies of the book
still exist, maybe the UC library has a copy.
