Down to the last game and the slow and small Bearcat team showed up. We can't penetrate past much taller and obviously slower team in a wide spread zone. We have 2 PG's playing loop pass toss 29 feet from the basket and contiunue to give wide open 3's to a stationary player on the perimeter. They play like a team ready to pack it in. We are getting the best play out of the player who will not return.
Repeating the same but this team not only is small but plays small. Williamson sometimes mixes it up but almost every shot not made by Vaughn is a fade away...even from the perimeter. Around the basket on both ends there is almost always another player between all of the Bearcats andf the basket. I guess that's how you get to 11-18.
Are there any of the scholorship players that are not seniors who could only be here 1 year on scholarship? Cronin eluded to that last year when he was signing guys to fill the team. You have to believe he would drop a couple of these guys in a heart beat to add a player with BE potential. You watch this team play and you could pick out a couple candidates easily. Thoughts?
