Reasonable Goals For UC Going Forward

Toss out 2007 completely. Don't even count it.

100+ W overall from 2008 through 2012 seasons. Mick averaged 23 W at Murray State. BE is not OVC so unfair to expect that, so 20+ W per season.

5+ W in NCAA games in the 2008-12 timeframe. Mick has never won an NCAA game before. Few coaches excel in the first NCAA appearances. Average 1+ W in NCAA games (per season) is fair.

Make BEast postseason tourney in 4 of next 5 years. Finish in Top 12 (of 16) to do it. Doable.

Finish in Top 3 of BEast in 2 of next 5 years. If recruiting goes as expected, this is also doable.

Win BEast or BE tourney in 1 of next 5 years. BEast is a power conference. UC hasn't been in a power conference since Missouri Valley of late 50's through mid 60's. It's harder to win there.

5 years (2008 through 2012) is fair. Counting 2007 for anything is not.
