Then U of L is the best mid major in history. From 1972 to 1997 they won
2 NCAA tourneys, went to about 6 Final 4's ( I cannot remember the exact
number) countless Elite 8's, etc. etc. Denny Crum was one heck of  a
coach until he got to 1998. I wonder how many U of L fans considered
their school as a mid major all those years.

Just because the MVC is the best Mid-Major conference now, doesn't mean
