I hope Huggins and Kennedy both succeed. I am not watching their games or even following their teams in the news media. But I appreciate what each man did for UC men's basketball and do not wish any misfortune on either of them. Of course, I want Cronin to be exponentially more successful than both combined. Comparing their teams successes and failure to those of Cronin's team accomplishes absolutely nothing, in my opinion, and is a waste of time and effort. Can we please move on?

Mick are you sure about both teams being picked to
finish way back in the standings. Because.... I'm not.

Kansas St. was picked to finish 5th in the Big 12....
amazing job Huggins as done with a top 5 team. Wow!

Ole Miss... well, I figured they were picked to finish
low. Well, they just might.... can you get much lower
than 4th or 5th in a six team division.

Not to get into this argument again, but most of us
(including me) are
praising Huggins and AK because their teams were
picked to finish way
back in the standings but instead were at or near
the top late in the
season. Their teams overachieved.

Amazing job by Mick Cronin to get that team to
continue to play hard all season... and finally
get a
win to show for it. Congratulations to those guys.
They definitely deserve it.

One more thing.... since I got so much grief about
saying AK and Huggs aren't having great years and
Tom
doesn't post updates anymore.... here goes.

K-State- losers of 4 of last 7. That sounds like a
team that isn't playing their best basketball at
the
end of the season. Coaching issues perhaps?

Ole Miss- lost last two and are one game away from
being 5th place in their division. Sounds like a
bit
of a choke job if you ask me. But you can't put
that
on the players... its gotta be the coach, right?
Not
sure you can hang your hat on 3rd, 4th, or 5th in
a
weak divison.

Now I hope everyone realizes that I do actually
think
Cronin, Huggins and Kennedy are all good coaches.
It's
just all I've heard are about are coaching
mistakes by
Cronin during the game and that the Bearcats not
getting better as the season progresses. But on
the
flip side.... nothing but comments about Huggins
and
Kennedy doing great jobs coaching. What about this
last stretch... are they doing good jobs now?
