Pete,
If you look at the records of K-State and Ole Miss say for the last 10 years, not to mention the attendance figures then and now you would know that those coaches have had great years. Both schools will make the NIT and who knows, they could make the NCAA with great runs in their tournaments. I'd say they both had good years. If you disagree with this accessment, please, let's here your rationale.

Amazing job by Mick Cronin to get that team to
continue to play hard all season... and finally get a
win to show for it. Congratulations to those guys.
They definitely deserve it.
One more thing.... since I got so much grief about
saying AK and Huggs aren't having great years and Tom
doesn't post updates anymore.... here goes.
K-State- losers of 4 of last 7. That sounds like a
team that isn't playing their best basketball at the
end of the season. Coaching issues perhaps?
Ole Miss- lost last two and are one game away from
being 5th place in their division. Sounds like a bit
of a choke job if you ask me. But you can't put that
on the players... its gotta be the coach, right? Not
sure you can hang your hat on 3rd, 4th, or 5th in a
weak divison.
Now I hope everyone realizes that I do actually think
Cronin, Huggins and Kennedy are all good coaches. It's
just all I've heard are about are coaching mistakes by
Cronin during the game and that the Bearcats not
getting better as the season progresses. But on the
flip side.... nothing but comments about Huggins and
Kennedy doing great jobs coaching. What about this
last stretch... are they doing good jobs now?
