Anthony McClain is still looking at UConn even though it is up in the air as to what Thabeet will do. I do think it is unlikely that McClain would go to UConn if Thabeet comes back for his sophomore year. Even though Thabeet has had his struggles this year and is certainly not ready for the NBA at this point, he would likely be a lottery pick if he did declare for the draft. He has enough defense to survive as a back up center, and the NBA isn't afraid to draft unique big men based on potential. 

The other three schools in the hunt for McClain are Cincinnati, Florida and Tennessee. Trevor Brown, McClain's high school coach, has always maintained that the success of the program in developing big men and the chance for early playing time are critical factors in the decision making process. Based on those two criteria, Florida might just have the most to offer.
