Leaping isn't his game. Hrycaniuk moves well on the floor, but he's not going to be picking quarters off the top of the backboard. He isn't Hicks and he isn't Martin. Hrycaniuk is more like a taller version of Bobby Brannen. Whether he's as good as Brannen remains to be seen.

I think Adam will guard the other teams center, but I'm not sure if we can
call him a true offensive center. It will depend on matchups.

Madness,
Hrycaniuk participated in Bearcat Madness, which included drills and
controlled scrimmaging. He is not a perimeter player. Unlike many tall
Europeans, Hrycaniuk is a banger. Hrycaniuk is strong and gets good
position. He sees and runs the floor well. At the time of Bearcat
he was wearing a cast on one hand, so it was hard to judge his shooting.5
He would've helped greatly this season. Hernol Hall would've helped more,
but that's another story. With Hrycaniuk, UC would've been able to rest
Williamson and get him out of the post on defense.
Next year, Hrycaniuk will be splitting time in the post, whether it be
with an incoming freshman or Mike Williams, who may be forced to play the
at times, rather than at #4.

Is he really a center or is everyone just slotting him there since he is6
foot 10? It seams like most foreign players are face up shooters or lackor
fundamental post skills. Even 7 footers that go straight to the NBA
typically lack any back to the basket game. Has anyone seen him practice
play? Could he beat Hicks, Maxiell or Martin 1 on 1 in the post? If notI
think calling him a BEast center is a stretch.
