Re: how many BE players do we currently have?

Most new college bb players take some time to adjust to the college game
& improve in their second year. This likely will happen to some of our
players. But based on what you've seen so far, which of our players do
you think can be helpful BE players? My opinion:

Warren-has had some good moments, but all in all, seems to me to be too
undisciplined: also a mediocre or less outside shooter; better suited
for a lesser league. Could play well at a place like Rider

Crowell- too weak on offense

Sikes-nice outside touch helps, not sure he has a real position, tho;
not a real #4 or 5, lacks speed & ball handling for a #3

Williamson-my goodness, he looks lost; maybe he can regain his
confidence & composure & get back to scoring close to the rim, get some
garbage points

Gentry-yes, I think he can help, even had 11 rebounds in 1 game (I
think): played well against 2 BE teams with winning records (WV &
Louisville)

Vaughn-love his ability to penetrate, streaky from the outside; getting
a lot of experience; he can help a good team

Subject: Re: [UC Basketball] Why I'm optimistic about the 2007-2008
season

Lots of reasons:

1. UC returns 7 scholarship veterans instead of 2 of them.

2. UC adds 2 solid redshirts and 4 or 5 quality recruits.

3. UC will be 2 or 3 deep at every postion except C (WF, PF, SG, and
PG).

4. UC coaches won't have recruits 2 classes at once like they did last
spring and summer.

5. UC will have 6 seniors on the roster.

I look for 20 W or more in 2008. Why not?
