Lost scholarship

I think someone at UC leaked this information at this time to embarrass  
Huggins.  That is weak.
 
As I read the article in the Enquirer it seems as if the problems have been  
exacerbated by the confusion in the program since they let Huggins go at the  
start of the basketball year in 2005.  I think you can primarily blame the  
administration for that, although I don't think Huggs did anything to help the  
situation at the time.  
 
Now Hathaway says we are going to help the players.  Where were they  before? 
 I firmly believe that a University has a responsibility to its  athletes to 
help them with tutoring and monitoring their progress.  They  make money off 
of these kids and should help them.  If UC wasn't doing this  adequately before 
shame on the administration.  If Herrara was a problem  who was monitoring 
his progress last year?  Mike Thomas?   
 
This administration just seems to love bad press.
