APR Scores For UC (2004-05-06)

13 scholarships (maximum). Each player counts as 4 points. 1 point each semester he is academically eligible to play. 1 point each semester he actually returns to play or graduate.

Transfer, lose 1 point. Quit the team, lose 1 point. Quit school, lose another point.

925 APR score = 92.5% of points that could be earned. That's 48 out of 52 (maximum) points.

UC scored 917 (APR) in 2004 under Huggins. UC 2-year average dropped to 872 in 2005 during year of transition. (See link here http://web1.ncaa.org/app_data/apr2005/140_2005_apr.pdf for details)

Per Enquirer article, UC 3-year average will be 830 when scores are released (for 2006) this spring.

So (doing the math) UC was 917 in 2004. 827 in 2005. 746 in 2006. Lots of transfers, players quitting, academic issues last spring.
