Re: Hrycaniuk Ruled Ineligible For 2006-07 Season

I don't see many people making their ticket decision on whether Adam H., a
player they have never seen play anyway, is eligible or not. If so, it's
sad. Once again, suport the team, regardless of who is playing or how they
are playing. It's always easy and convenient to support a winning team, yet
the true fans are evident when things aren't so great. It's amazing how
many people are already falling off the bandwagon.

What good does it do to tell everyone that we wouldn't have these guys?
Do you honestly think that by not telling people what was going on would
really affect ticket sales THAT much? You are right that we will never
hear bad news unless it is absolutely necessary because that is the way
it should be.

Now that we get the whole story it seems very cut-and-dried to me

Hall and Adam H were ruled ineligible by the NCAA months ago but UC
never put the word out. People were still buying tickets you know. The
first word from UC was they were waiting a decision from the NCAA. Then
later UC said it was a decision on an appeal for both players which
meant the NCAA had already ruled but UC never actually said that. Then
it was they would know next week. Then it was several we will know in 2
or 3 days plus Adam H would maybe miss a few games, get to play half a
season etc. etc.. Hall was ruled not to play at all and Adam H was
ruled not to play this season at all months ago and that's the way it
still is. All that stuff UC and Mick put out was just smoke and
mirrors. You will never hear any bad news about a recruit from UC
unless it's absolutely necessary. Just have to read between the lines
folks and that's a fact. Don
